I just wanted to acknowledge the young man working on 9/8 at Stewart’s in Point Pleasant. He was the cook, waitress and cashier. My mom and myself enjoy the car service, being she has a walker and I have a cane , that being said I would not be able to carry the food to car for me and my mom. The young man that was working did everything to make our experience for the second time at Stewart’s OUTSTANDING!! Thank you again for the service he provided!
Haven’t seen a Stewart’s in ages, so I stopped. Quick hotdog, cheese fries and Rootbeer $20. Everything tasted like something from a dollar store freezer, even the Rootbeer… how? It’s not posted anywhere but they only take cash. I ended up paying for nostalgia, not good food. Literally left a bad taste in my mouth.
Today my wife and I wanted to go somewhere we haven't been in over a decade, so we said let's go to Stewart's. So we both ordered the same thing, 2 cheeseburger baskets and 1 iced tea. The burgers were nothing to write home, tasted like a thawed frozen pattie and a piece of sliced cheese. Both burgers were cooked almost med-rare, we didn't complain we just ate them. The fries had absolutely no salt on them and the oil tasted slightly old. Very very disappointed, the last time we ate here it was a totally different outcome. And the WORST part of everything, it cost $37 for 2 (undercooked) cheeseburgers and fries and 1 drink.
Visited by accident. Food was good, but wish the serving size was a little bigger for the price. Got a crab cake sandwich, and it seemed be a frozen Patty as other reviews mentioned. Ordered pierogies, which not a lot of people mention, which were okay. Fast service. There is a good amount of parking.
$57 for two burger baskets and one chili dog basket. Way over priced. Burgers were frozen patties not fresh. I don't know what brand hot dog they use, but that was gross. I asked for no cheese on my burger, yet it was there. Who puts Dijon mustard in yellow mustard container. Nauseating. Fries were flavorless. Root beer was good.
First of all I never write reviews. This burger more closely resembled a grilled burger consisting of mouse then beef. With pump nacho cheese wiz. Disgusting doesn't justify the food quality. Next time I'll chew my sneaker.
Stewart's should stick with the sodas! Burger is your typical below average burger; frozen. Fish 'n chips were crunchy but greasy, and the fries were average. Corn dog was not bad, and greasy as well. Perogies were not bad, but tasted off. Rootbeer float was solid, as expected though. Don't come here for dinner, you can find better food for the same price easily anywhere else.
After a long day at the beach Stewart's was the perfect stop for dinner before our drive home. Everyone ordered something different and all liked what we got. Fast, friendly service and also has a clean restroom. Root beer was delicious, regret not getting the root beer float.
